John W. Danforth Company is seeking talented and highly motivated professionals to fill the roles of Senior Project Manager and Project Manager in the Central New York Region. As one of the largest mechanical contractors in the Northeast, Danforth has been on the cutting edge of delivering exceptional customer service in the area of Mechanical Construction for over 130 years. 1) Complete responsibility of all project related operations 2) Project Manager will scheduling of direct and indirect project work 3) Interfacing with Client and Owner Representatives 4) Review of Project Scope with Field Foreman 5) Assuring project is entered into Corporate System accurately and completely 6) Project Manager will review invoice amounts with Client and request project invoicing from Accounting 7) Perform Job Site Safety Analysis (JSA) with Field Supervisor 8) Attend Project Meetings as required 9) Project Manager will attend weekly inter-office scheduling and coordination meetings 10) Perform job site inspections of work in progress and review for client satisfaction 11) Project Manager will maintain a daily log of activities and correspondence 12) Assure that tools and equipment are returned 13) Coordinate activities between field and shop, subcontractors and owner’s suppliers 14) Project Manager will review cost reports and variances 15) Negotiate and administer scope changes in the work
Experience Required:
Successful Project Manager candidates will have a BS Degree in Engineering or an Associate Degree in a Construction related field plus 7 years of experience in the industry, including as a Project Manager.

The Field Sales Representative is an outside sales position, and is responsible for increasing the sales and margins of Liberty Electric Sales and Empire State Sales, by calling on and building relationships with End Users, Architects, Facilities/Maintenance personnel, Specifying Engineers, Electrical Contractors and Distributors in the Western NY and Northwest PA territory.
