Be prepared to act when emergencies arise. When you understand first aid, you’ll gain the ability to help those in need. Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) can help save a life if a person’s breathing or heart stops. When a sudden cardiac arrest event happens, minutes matter. In this course you will learn how to treat and recognize heart attacks, strokes, diabetic emergencies and more.
This course will also speak about first aid for severe bleeding. Serious injury can lead to life-threatening blood loss within minutes, be prepared to provide lifesaving care when the unexpected happens.
This is an in-person only session, no virtual attendance. Completion cards will be emailed to the employers.
This class will be held at the ICAN Community Center, training room at 106 Memorial Parkway, Rome, NY 13501. ICAN is located between Genesee Street and Parkway Recreation Center. Please enter the parking lot through the entrance off Holland Avenue.
Free for SBE Member Firms - $100 Non-Members.
Due to high demand, only 4 employees per company, unless there are available spots.
Please let us know if your employee cannot attend so we can free up their spot. If another employee will replace an employee registered for the class, no problem, please let us know.
Please make checks payable to Syracuse Builders Exchange. Credit cards are accepted (fees apply). Payments must be received by the first day of class.
